The following are instructions for the more common email programs:

1. Click the Menus button, (beside the help question mark button) and click Options
2. Uncheck, Check for new messages every, XX mins and click OK.

3. Enter 0 in the input box labeled Check for mail every ( ) minute(s).

2. Select the Network tab, then click Advanced network configuration options.
3. Enter 0 in the input box labeled Check for new POP3 mail every ( ) seconds.

3. Select the desired email account from the Incoming Mail Servers list and click Edit button.
